Terms of Service

What Velo is

Velo is a private, invite-only professional network for builders and founders. Membership is by invitation or approved application. We may curate introductions, provide messaging, an AI Mentor, and other features, and we may change what the service offers over time.

Membership

• Invite-only. Access is granted by invitation or by an application we approve. We may decline or revoke access at our discretion, particularly where these terms are broken.
• Your account is yours. Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. Don't share access or impersonate anyone.
• One real person. Be yourself. Accurate, honest profiles are the whole point of a trusted network.

How to behave here

Velo works because members trust each other. By using it, you agree to:

• Treat other members with respect. No harassment, abuse, threats, or hate.
• Be honest about who you are and what you're building.
• Not spam, scam, or exploit other members.
• Not misuse the network — no scraping, no unauthorized access, no attempts to break or overload the service.
• Not use Velo for anything illegal.

We take these seriously. Breaking them can cost you your membership, without refund.

Reporting and blocking

If a member behaves badly, you can report them to us and block them. We review reports and may act on them, including removing members. Blocking a member stops them from contacting or seeing you.

Your content

• You own what you create — your profile, your messages, your workspace content.
• You give us permission to store and display it as needed to run the network (for example, showing your profile to members you're introduced to).
• Don't post content you don't have the right to share, or that's illegal, harmful, or infringes others' rights.

The AI Mentor

The Mentor is an AI assistant. It can be helpful, but it can be wrong. It doesn't give professional, legal, financial, or medical advice, and you shouldn't rely on it as if it does. Use your own judgment.

Payments (as they roll out)

Some features may require a paid membership. When paid features launch, prices and terms will be shown clearly before you pay. Payments are handled by our payment providers.

Availability

We work to keep Velo running well, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free, especially early on. We may change, pause, or discontinue features.

Ending your membership

• You can leave any time by deleting your account.
• We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or misuse the service.

Our responsibility

Velo is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses from your use of the service. Nothing here removes rights you have that can't legally be removed.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll update the date above and, for meaningful changes, let members know. Continuing to use Velo means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mongolia.
